Have you kept up with Terra Nova? I wanted to love it, and never had “issues” to hold against it, but just found myself not really compelled to come back. I did 3 episodes. Each episode seemed to basically stand alone with only minor through-lines, and it didn’t quite ask challenging humanity questions like a BSG or Lost managed to do. To me, that’s what I need to keep watching an hour long that’s not named Survivor. 🙂
Yes, I’m still watching. I agree though, that it feels like it wants to go somewhere but never actually makes any progress. And the lack of depth in the philosophy of it also keeps me from investing fully. It’s Sci-Fi and fun to watch with my 12 year old so I’ll stick around.
